SuperChix '76 is a no-holds-barred, rally-style challenge featuring awesome American muscle cars. You’ll be able to choose from 8 chix and take them for a ride round international circuits ranging from the sweaty jungles of the Amazon Basin to the streetwise cool of night-time San Francisco. This is another of the outdated games from Small Rockets released for free to the market, since they don’t support Windows XP or Vista. From its name you can guess that this is a male oriented game and it could even be offensive for some women.
The game goal is to progress through the Rally mode to unlock new courses, or lose the smokeys on your tail in Cop Chase. You'll need to powerslide round corners, use banked turns and take short cuts to blast your way to victory.
Good use of the handbrake is really essential to winning races in Superchix 76! The handbrake, while slowing your car down, allows you to power slide into corners, helping you to take the fastest line through them. Although your car will power slide automatically if you steer into a bend for too long, using the handbrake has the advantage that it will get you into a power slide almost as soon as you activate it. This affords you greater control of your vehicle.
You should use the shortcuts found on some of the courses to your advantage - sometimes they're quicker than following the usual path round the course. Also, in Cop Chase mode, remember that the police will cause your opponent problems too - use this to your advantage.
Regarding controls, this game is designed to be played either from your PC keyboard, a Steering Wheel, or a regular Joystick. You’ll be able to control everything with a set of less than 15 keys.
